Danu

The Mother of the Celtic Gods Pendant

In Celtic mythology, Danu is the Great Mother the source of all. Her name lives on through the Tuatha Dé Danann, meaning “the children of Danu,” a reflection of her role as the origin of a people, a world, and life itself.

She does not fight or stand at the forefront, for she is already everything: flowing water, fertile earth, and the life giving essence. All things are born from her and return to her. She is the unseen force behind creation.

To her children, she bestowed the knowledge of mysteries, healing, and craft. Nourished by her essence, they became a divine race beings of power, wisdom, and magic beyond ordinary humans.
